Uorfi Javed has become an internet sensation, but her journey to fame was anything but easy. Recently, she recalled the challenges she faced during her early days in the entertainment industry, including an incident where she collapsed after a grueling 50-hour shoot. Her path to success was filled with obstacles, and here’s a glimpse into those tough times.
In a past interview with Filmygyan, Uorfi Javed opened up about her experiences in the TV industry. She shared that while working on the daily soap “Meri Durga,” she once had to shoot for an exhausting 50 hours non-stop, which severely impacted her health. Recalling the event, Uorfi said, “I fainted because we were shooting for 50 hours continuously. After 50 hours, I just couldn’t take it anymore.”
The “Bigg Boss OTT” star was part of the “Meri Durga” cast alongside Shrishti Jain and Paras Kalnawat. Uorfi, Paras, and Shrishti were quite young at the time, and despite the demanding schedule, they tried to enjoy their time on set. Uorfi mentioned that she would often only sleep for two hours during breaks while her co-stars continued shooting. “I believe it was around 5 a.m., and we were shooting when I fainted. I collapsed and felt dizzy,” she added.
Known for her unconventional fashion choices, Uorfi Javed has carved out a unique space for herself on social media. However, her journey was marked by numerous setbacks, including being replaced in shows or having them go off-air. Despite these challenges, Uorfi persevered and has come a long way.
Uorfi is now gearing up for her next show, “Follow Karlo Yaar,” which will be available on Amazon Prime Video. Reflecting on her difficult past, she revealed that she once had to give a 20 percent cut from her salary to the channel. Even when she was determined not to give up, she was replaced and told she couldn’t act. However, over time, Uorfi realized that rejection was not a reflection of her abilities, and she worked tirelessly to establish herself in the industry.
