Shaurya is driving the car thinking of when Sunny asked the reason he wants to end the marriage of Rajveer and Palki, Shaurya suddenly stops the car when he sees Palki standing in front of his car looking at him while smiling, he keeps seeing her and is not even able to blink as Palki comes to kneel against the window of his door knocking on it, he keeps looking at her and then rolls down the window before stepping out of his car, he looks around but cannot find Palki anywhere so he runs to the other side to see if she is there and suddenly Palki comes in front of him again when he slowly tries to touch her face, she however runs away smiling and he keeps walking towards her, Shaurya keeps trying to catch her however she is able to run away from him, she then comes behind him while her dupatta falls over his face, Shaurya with a smile is able to pull her back towards him and they both start hugging while Palki is smiling, Shaurya suddenly realizes he is just standing alone and this was all an imagination, he slowly goes back to start looking for her and yells the name of Palki, Shaurya realizes he was just standing at the signal and then thinks he slept in the car while he was not drunk and then so asks everyone to relax before driving away.

Preeta is drinking the water and thanks Kavya, Rajveer runs to his Maa asking what happened, she explains she went to the store room and then got locked inside while even the lights went out so she got scared, Karan asks Preeta to calm down assuring that they all are by her side, Bani Dadi says that Preeta said there was someone present in the store room, Rajveer says it might their imagination but Preeta assures someone was indeed present, Rajveer replies he is always going to be by her side and she should not worry, Bani Dadi suggests they would leave so she must rest, Kavya also asks her to relax when Karan says she can call him if she needs anything, Preeta stops Karan saying he should not go anywhere and she asks if Karan can stay here for some time. Karan says he can live here for his entire life, Rajveer and Kavya look at him when Preeta is also stunned, karan replies he meant he would stay till she desires and he says he can sleep on the couch if she is comfortable as they go with the patient in the hospital, preeta immediately agrees and then thanks Karan., Bani Dadi advises Karan to stay here for the night while she would leave with Kavya so they both walk away. Rajveer also says thanks to Karan who even advises Rajveer to go and relax, Preeta is very tensed, karan asks her to not be scared saying he is not going to leave her for even a moment while if she needs anything then should call him, he suggests she should just rest for some time as then would feel nice, karan helps Preeta lie down on the bed while he is fixing the sheet, karan keeps staring at Preeta who is very scared but he slowly goes towards the couch where he takes off the jacket before sitting on the couch, karan keeps staring at Preeta for a moment, he notices that she is also looking at him and then after a while closes her eyes to go to sleep and so he also rests his head on the side of the couch.

Bani Dadi entering the Luthra Mansion tells Kavya Preeta got scared a lot, Nidhi asks them where is karan when Bani Dadi reveals that Preeta got scared a lot and so they asked karan to also stay by her side, Nidhi thinks she cannot allow it and Nidhi says Preeta is not a child, Kavya replies that Preeta maa just needed the support of papa and she can demand it as she has complete right over him so they both should support each other, Bani Dadi asks Nidhi to also go to sleep and they both leave. Nidhi thinks that she cannot tolerate it anymore as Karan is even with Preeta in the night so she cannot allow it an the day of engagement would be the last day of Preeta in this house.

Preeta while sleeping is getting a nightmare about when she got locked in the store room and how she felt someone was there, karan wakes up noticing how she is very restless and he wonders what might have caused it, he thinks she might be seeing a night mare. Rajveer also looks at Preeta maa whole standing outside the door, preeta suddenly wakes up after being scared when karan sits by her side saying she should not be worried as he said he would with her, he says she is in her room and with the family so he is by her side, she should just relax and he says he is by her side. Preeta hugs Karan tightly while even crying, Karan is not able to think about anything nor even comprehend it, he also embraces Preeta as she is hugging him. Rajveer thinks that he does not fear anymore as he knows his father would take care of Maa, and he is not scared anymore so Rajveer leaves after getting emotional. Karan is also crying while hugging Preeta, she after a while gets back a bit and then he helps her lie down on the bed again when Karan sits by her bed side.

Shaurya is performing the exercise when Nidhi angrily enters the room and she asks where was he all this time, he says his car broke down so he could not find any mechanic when she says he should stay in the house for some time, Shaurya asks her to sit by his side, she says that she advised him to look around what is happening in the house and she says that Rajveer is becoming important for everyone while very soon no one would b bothered by anything, Nidhi explains she gets very lonely and if they are together then would be able to do something. Shaurya asks if something happened, Nidhi reveals his father is in the outhouse with the aunt of Rajveer, Shaurya asks the reason when she says that Preeta got scared and requested his support. Nidhi informs Rajveer has become important for everyone and ever since he came has Shaurya heard his father calling to him, Shaurya agrees with his mom but informs they would not get anything by crying and figure out something, Nidhi says the mother tend to do things for their children but she is asking help from him, he replies he is always going to stay by her side so she must not cry as they would not get any solution like this, Nidhi says Rajveer is very smart and has already become the CEO so he might even become the owner, she says that the aunt of Rajveer and he are taking control over everything, Nidhi says he might have heard the idiom that they just need a single blow, she says he should do something that the Luthra family throws them both out of the house.e Shaurya says that Nidhi mom must wait for the engagement day as he has already completed the planning, Shaurya explains he really hates Rajveer a lot.

Rajveer is walking in the outhouse thinking of when he argued with karan Luthra outside the Luthra mansion and said they donot have any relation, Rajveer is crying recalling when karan slit his wrist, then he thinks of all the moments when karan protected his mother and even took a bullet for her. Rajveer gets a call from Palki who is very furious saying she does not want to talk to him, he asks if he called her when she says he is the most busy person an why would he call her as he does not have any concern while she is the mad one who keeps calling him so is ending the call, Rajveer requests her to listen to him, she is still anger and says that she said she is not going to call him any more as she called him at the wrong time, Palki realizes Rajveer is crying and she asks if there is anything serious so why is sounding like this, Rajveer says a very weird incident happened in the house as Maa went into the store room and then got locked there, while she was even complaining about a ghost and he is glad that Dad was there, Rajveer informs that Dad was still sleeping on the couch and saw that Maa was restless in her sleep so he was about to go and help her but then his Dad came to her support, Rajveer says he is very glad they both are together and informs he knows his dad tried to prove his love for Maa but he kept arguing with his father and his father even slit the wrist, Rajveer says sometimes the little things leave very big impacts and he says Dad is taking such care as he is the protector so he feels very nice but is even very guilty. Palki asks if Rajveer noticed how many times has he taken the name of Dad in their conversation today and so she felt at peace today, Rajveer agrees with Palki saying Dad is nice, Palki says the anger she had with him has ended while karan sir is very nice, Palki explains she is indeed feeling very nice, Palki says he is crying but then Rajveer says he is not crying however Palki replies she knows what he might be feeling even when he is not around. Palki says she is sure that he is crying right now and is sad, Rajveer asks her to not share it with anyone and Palki agrees, they both stay connected when after a while Palki says it is very late so he should go to sleep while they will meet tomorrow, she wishes him good night before ending the call.

In the morning Karan is still holding the hand of Preeta while sleeping by the bed, Preeta wakes up when she sees that Karan slept like this after holding her hand, she remembers how she hugged him last night and so slowly pulls her hand away. Nidhi coming to the door is shocked seeing Karan sleeping on the chair and enters the room, Nidhi entering the room wishes Preeta good morning and she would not be scared as her husband was with her the entire night and took care of her, Nidhi once again asks if she slept peacefully when she was not alone but with her husband, Preeta replies she fell asleep when Nidhi says that she should not fall in love with him s karan is her husband and says he is very close to her, Nidhi asks what is going on here. Karan wakes up then angrily looks at Nidhi who says she just came to say that the decorators have arrived and Shanaya and Palki have also come, while Preeta said that she would also help them so Preeta says she forgot about the day and is going to come very soon. Preeta thanks Nidhi for allowing her husband to take care of her andd she thanks them both while leaves to get ready, Karan angrily looks at Nidhi. He tells her even he is going to get ready so he leaves, Nidhi sees the room and thinks they both were here together, she says Preeta first entered the house then came to live in the outhouse, she starts to overthink a lot but then says Preeta is on her nerves, she then says Preeta might have gotten scared and so Karan came to her side, she wonders what can she do as she is not able to understand anything and she went to scare preeta but was herself not able to sleep. Rajveer also enters the room and then asks what is Nidhi aunti doing here, she says Preeta went to take shower while karan also left to get ready, she explains she came to call them while has a lot of work and even asks Rajveer to come help a bit, Rajveer wonders why was she talking like this as it felt weird and he suspects there is something wrong with her.
