The newly launched show Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua has introduced an exciting on-screen pairing between Akshit Sukhija and Aditi Tripathi. The current storyline focuses on the traditional wedding of Deepika and Chirag, where Deepika’s father performs the emotional Kanyadaan ceremony and makes a heartfelt promise to Chirag to ensure his daughter’s happiness. However, the plot thickens as Lavanya, unable to accept her son’s marriage to Deepika due to her darker complexion, severs all ties with Chirag.

Aditi Tripathi, who recently portrayed a bride in the show, opened up to India Forums about the challenges she faced while shooting the wedding scenes. She shared that her entire outfit was inspired by a traditional Rajasthani wedding. “The lehenga, chooda, everything reflects a Rajasthani vibe,” Aditi said. “I love the look, but the dupatta is very heavy, making it quite tough to carry throughout the day while shooting.”

As the story progresses, Chirag and Deepika face new hurdles after moving into the outhouse. Upon arrival, they find the place in a state of disrepair, but Deepika takes charge, cleaning and organizing the space to make it livable. Their struggles continue when Lavanya, in an attempt to make their lives difficult, cuts off the electricity supply to the outhouse. When Chirag confronts her about it, she coldly remarks, “You can’t get free electricity because you’re no longer part of our family.”
