When Rani opened the door she was shocked to see her husband Shekar.

Rani got angry:Why have you come here?

Shekar:You were not responding to my phone calls or letters.So I came here.

Rani:Why suddenly you remembered me?When I was there with you,you were a spineless husband who supported only the mother.

Shekar:I remember you always.

He opened his purse and showed her their family photograph.

Shekar:See…I always look at our family photograph.I missed you every second.That’s why I sent you letters and called you over the phone.

Rani:I attend our son’s phone calls.He is living happily in the Bangalore hostel.He is studying well also.I am happy with that.But your phone calls remind me of my toxic sasural.

Shekar:You are calling your sasural toxic because of my mother.Right?She has gone for pilgrimage.She is not there at home.So can’t you come back home?

Rani was surprised that her mother in law is not there at home.

Rani:But she will come back after some months.Right?

Shekar:But till then you can stay happily in our house.Right?

Rani put an attitude and replied:I have to think.

Other family members arrived there.

Naren:Why do you have to think so much Rani?Till now we kept you here as you said that your husband does’nt care for you.But he himself came here to call you back.So you have to go.

Rani was stunned:Papa!

Veena:Your father is right Rani.You have to give a chance to your marriage.

Naren:After marriage,a woman’s home is her sasural.So you better go back to your sasural Rani.

Shekar smiled.Rani became upset.

Naren:Don’t argue with me.Do what I say.After marriage a woman’s duty is look after your husband and live serving him.You do that Rani.Pack your bag now.

The disappointed Rani packed her luggage.

She stared at Sonakshi and said:Now you may be happy that I am leaving.Right?

Sonakshi:I did not think that way Rani di.Just be happy with your husband.

Rani turned off her face in anger and and left with Shekar.

 

Pooja told Sonakshi:I did not like Naren uncle saying that after marriage,a woman’s life is only about sasural.But still I am happy with his decision to send Rani aunty back to her sasural.Because she was a nuisance here.She was unbearable.So I feel relieved after she went.

Sonakshi and Raavi smiled.

Pooja:Guess what?I only contacted Shekar uncle to take back Rani aunty.Since he loves her,immediately he agreed.

Sonakshi and Raavi were surprised.

Sonakshi:You only called Shekar jeejaji here?

Pooja:Yes.

Sonakshi:You are smarter than I expected.

Pooja smiled.

Raavi:Thank you Pooja.Rani bua was taunting Maa very much.I am glad that she is out.

The trio smiled.

Pulkit came home for vacation.Everyone hugged him happily.Pulkit caressed Raavi’s face and asked:How are you Raavi?

Rohit:Pooja,here girls do not mingle with boys in a friendly manner.It would be better if you keep up that manner.

Pooja,Raavi,Sonakshi and Pulkit became dull.

After Naren,Veena and Rohit went inside Pulkit smiled at Pooja.

Pulkit:Sorry for not talking to you properly in front of them.Our family is so narrow minded that they don’t encourage the friendship between boys and girls.They don’t know that we are brother and sister.If I talk to you in front of them,they will get angry.

Pooja:I understand bro.In their absense we can enjoy a lot till you return after the vacation.

Pulkit smiled:Yes.Papa,dadaji and dadimaa are going for a function tomorrow.

They smiled.

Rohit and parents  his went out.

Pooja:Raavi,you paint so well.I never thought that you had this talent.Then why are you not taking part in the upcoming painting exhibition in college?If maximum people vote for your painting,you will win a prize.Right?

Raavi:Papa won’t allow it.He says that I should be only studying in college.He says that girls taking part in competitions make them over smart.

Pooja was shocked.

Pooja:What kind of attitude is this?Taking part in extra curricular activities is bad for girls?Pathetic!

Pooja went near Rohit.

Pooja:Uncle,can I request you for something?

Pooja:Raavi is a very good painter.Can you please allow her to exhibit her painting at the college fest.

Sonakshi who heard this thought:Before marriage,however strict papa was,I could dance.But my daughter Raavi is not even allowed to do that before her marriage.How pathetic her fate is!

Veena:Rohit..I think Pooja is right.Please allow it.

Sonakshi:Rohit…please allow it as our daughter will get a little bit of happiness through it.

Pooja pleaded:Please Rohit uncle…if you really love her,atleast before marriage please allow her to exhibit her paintings.

Rohit:Call Raavi.

Pooja got tensed.

She thought:Will he scold Raavi because of me?Poor Raavi did’nt even know that I came here to talk to Rohit phupha about this.

Raavi looked at him emotionally.

Pooja and Sonakshi were relieved that Rohit did not scold Raavi,but were sad that Rohit did not permit her to take part in the exhibition.

Raavi,Sonakshi,Pooja and Veena were surprised.

Raavi:Really papa?

Rohit:Yes.You are in final year.Only this year you can participate.After that I will get you married.

Raavi exhibited her painting in the college fest.Her painting got maximum appreciation and she won the first prize.Raavi could not believe it when they announced her as the winner.

Raavi said in her mind:Thanks to Pooja for convincing papa to permit me to take part in the exhibition.

Shiva went near her:Congrats Raavi.

Raavi:Thank you.

Shiva:I did’nt know that you were such a nice painter.Your painting looks so beautiful.It looks like a photograph.

Raavi smiled.

Shiva:All these years why did’nt you show case your talent?Why did you hide your talent till now?

Raavi became dull.

She thought:Because my papa had not allowed me to expose my talent.

It was evening when the college programme got over.Raavi waited for the bus.But she did not get any bus.She got tensed.

Shiva came there with his bike.

Shiva:Raavi,don’t go allow at this time.It may not be safe.I will drop you.

Raavi got tensed.

Raavi:No no.

Raavi thought:If anyone sees us together,I will be killed.Everyone will misunderstand that we are lovers.

Raavi:The programme got over late.

Sona:I thought so.Your papa,dadaji and dadimaa went out.So you escaped.Otherwise they would have scolded you for coming back late.

She was relieved.

That time itself  Rohit,Naren and Veena reached there.Pulkit and Pooja also came there.

Rohit:How was your exhibition?

Raavi took out the trophy from her bag and said:I won the first prize papa.
