Tiwari tells Angoori that Vibhu won’t agree to let Teeka marry Bulbul because he doesn’t have a stable income. Angoori points out that Teeka earns but loses his money gambling. Tiwari promises to try convincing Vibhu, and Angoori insists he must succeed. Vibhu and Anu arrive, and after being greeted, Anu asks how Tiwari is doing. He says he’s doing well thanks to her blessings, to which Anu replies that she’s not that old. Vibhu and Tiwari then get into an argument, and Angoori leads everyone to dinner.

At the table, as everyone enjoys their meal, Angoori mentions buying a new thermos for storing tea all day. She signals Tiwari to bring up the main topic. Tiwari nervously starts talking about Teeka, and Vibhu calls him the biggest failure in the neighborhood. Tiwari mentions that Teeka wants to marry Bulbul, which angers Vibhu because Teeka doesn’t have a job. Tiwari argues that Teeka will start earning once he has a family and claims that Teeka loses his money because Tillu tempts him to gamble. Furious, Vibhu throws hot water on Tiwari’s face and physically attacks him. Angoori intervenes and helps Tiwari while Anu takes Vibhu home.

Back home, Anu scolds Vibhu, who insists that Tiwari forgot what he was saying. Tiwari arrives, bruised, and tells Anu he didn’t do anything wrong, adding that Bulbul isn’t even that attractive. Happu Singh, the police officer, shows up to arrest Vibhu, as Tiwari filed a complaint. Vibhu explains that Tiwari wanted Teeka to marry Bulbul, and Happu brushes it off. When Vibhu asks Happu if he would let Teeka marry his sister, Happu gets upset. David arrives and defends Vibhu, but Tiwari insists that either Bulbul marries Teeka, or Vibhu faces jail time. Shocked, Anu goes to talk to Vibhu while Happu takes Tiwari to the hospital.

Later, Tiwari returns home, and Angoori helps him get comfortable. When asked what happened, Tiwari says Vibhu still refused, but Anu gave him some hope by saying she would talk to Vibhu. Frustrated, Angoori suggests telling Teeka they can’t help him. At that moment, Saxena appears and warns that Teeka might fall into depression or even attempt suicide. Angoori promises to keep trying.

During dinner, Vibhu asks Bulbul what she really wants. Anu and David bicker about a solution, with David teasing Anu for always making decisions. When Vibhu asks if Bulbul loves Teeka, she admits she does and is willing to marry him—if Vibhu consents. However, Vibhu remains against the marriage.
